Now that Thanksgiving is over, I bet you’re sick of eating leftovers. In an attempt to set a world record (or at least a personal best), I have now had five turkey dinners with associated side dishes in the last three days. I’m pretty proud, but I’m getting a little tired of stuffing. That’s why I suggest making something almost completely unrelated to Thanksgiving for dinner tonight. Tonight, you should make mac and cheese.
- Use a different kind of milk (whole, skim, whatever)
- Omit the garlic
- Use a different type of cheese, such as jack or swiss. Or, use a combination of cheeses
- Omit the pumpkin (kind of defeats the purpose but you can do it), or add more pumpkin
- Use a different type of pasta
