Welcome to White Coat, Pink Apron: my blog about being a pediatrician who cooks. I started this blog because of my seemingly unparalleled love of cooking and food, and my desire to share my tips and tricks for cooking easy, interesting, and relatively well-balanced meals while working more than I ever thought humanly possible. You will learn throughout my posts that I rarely plan ahead when it comes to cooking, I often do things on a whim (e.g., I am now writing a blog, an idea I came up with yesterday), and most importantly, that these qualities have helped me to come up with some of the more interesting dinners that we have eaten in my house. Recipes will range from slightly lighter (and occasionally, slightly heavier) comfort foods to Armenian mezza, and everything in between. I hope you enjoy!
